Why is physical activity important for people with arthritis?

If you have arthritis, participating in joint-friendly physical activity can improve your arthritis pain, function, mood, and quality of life. Joint-friendly physical activities are low-impact, which means they put less stress on the body, reducing the risk of injury.

Examples of joint-friendly activities include walking, biking, and swimming. Being physically active can also delay the onset of arthritis-related disability and help people with arthritis manage other chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and obesity.
April is National Stress Awareness Month! Here are some tips to help you manage stress
  1. Add yoga to your routine.
  2. Enjoy a conversation with a friend.
  3. Spend time in the garden.
  4. Try mediation and deep breathing.
  5. Catch a movie.
  6. Book a massage or spa day.
  7. Listen to soothing music or audiobook.

ForeverWell Line Dancing
Fridays in April | 9:30-10:30am

Kick up your heels! Line dancing is the name of the game and great exercise! There is only one rule in line dancing--enjoy and have fun! We will start with basic line dance steps and learn some beginning level line dances. No partners needed!
